New Skoda Enyaq SE L 85 Launches with Lower Entry Price

The launch of the New Skoda Enyaq SE L 85 provides customers with a reduced entry price for models equipped with the 77kWh (net) battery. Open for orders now, it comes with an on-the-road price of £41,980. This version delivers a WLTP combined range of up to 359 miles, giving drivers the benefit of extended travel between charges. The car supports rapid DC charging at speeds of up to 135kW, allowing a 10–80% charge in just 28 minutes when connected to a compatible charging station.

Performance and efficiency

Powered by a rear-mounted electric motor delivering 286 PS, the New Skoda Enyaq SE L 85 accelerates from 0 to 62mph in 6.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 111mph. The balance of range, performance, and charging capability positions this model as a practical choice for everyday driving as well as longer journeys.

Government Electric Car Grant eligibility

The New Skoda Enyaq SE L 85 qualifies under the Government’s “Band 2” Electric Car Grant, enabling buyers to access a £1,500 discount at the point of purchase. This initiative supports a wider adoption of electric vehicles while rewarding models that meet strict environmental standards. Other eligible cars in the Elroq and Enyaq range also fall under this scheme, giving customers multiple options to benefit from reduced pricing.

Standard equipment and comfort features

The New Skoda Enyaq SE L 85 includes a wide selection of standard features, such as 19-inch Proteus silver alloy wheels, a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Loft interior design, heated front seats and steering wheel, and an electric boot with Virtual pedal. Comfort is further enhanced with tri-zone climate control, while safety and assistance systems include Predictive adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, Travel Assist Plus, and keyless entry with walk-away locking.

Plus option package

For buyers seeking additional equipment, the Plus package is available for £2,500. It upgrades the New Skoda Enyaq SE L 85 with Full LED Matrix beam headlights, electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory and massage functions, and manual blinds for the rear windows. The package also adds LED rear lights with animated indicators and rear side airbags, enhancing both convenience and safety.
